Job summary

Neuberger, a leading finance team in APAC, seeks a qualified Chartered Accountant to lead regional financial controls across HK, Singapore, Taiwan, China and Australia. You will drive regulatory filings, budgeting, and reporting, while mining data to inform management decisions and automating controls.

The role requires strong Excel skills, regional experience, and the ability to mentor junior staff in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Chartered accountant with 5–10 years’ experience or qualified by experience.
• Experience working in a regional capacity is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to translate business needs into financial insight.

Requirements

• Evidence of track record of project delivery, transformation and critical thinking is required
• Chartered accountant with 5-10 years’ experience or qualified by experience
• Experience working in a regional capacity preferred
• Commercial mindset, with experience engaging with real‑life business scenarios
• Working knowledge of SAP and business intelligence tools an advantage
• Advanced Excel skills, which will be tested
• Familiarity with group structure matrices, including cost centres and inter‑companies
• Numerate and methodical with a strong attention to detail and problem solving attitude
• Able to work under pressure within tight deadlines
• Able to manage conflicting demands with minimal supervision
• Track record of working as part of a small team and on own initiative
• Excellent written and spoken English essential; able to communicate clearly in verbal and written form with all levels of seniority
