Job summary

Neuberger Berman Group LLC in Hong Kong seeks an experienced finance professional to join the regional financial control team overseeing HK, Singapore, Taiwan, China and Australia. You will drive transformations, lead reporting, and support budgeting.

The role requires CA qualification with 5–10 years, strong Excel, SAP and BI tools, and excellent English communication. You will work under tight deadlines, mentor juniors, and contribute to improving controls across APAC.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering projects and driving transformations.
• Chartered accountant qualification or equivalent with 5–10 years’ experience.
• Experience in a regional capacity is preferred.
• Commercial mindset with real-business exposure.
• Working knowledge of SAP and BI tools is advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills will be tested.
• Familiarity with group structure matrices, cost centres and inter-companies.
• Numerate, detail-oriented and problem-solver.
• Can work under pressure and handle conflicting demands.
• Proven ability to work both in small teams and independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory, tax, audit and other ad-hoc reporting or filings
• Contribute to the budget and outlook process
• Data mining and analysis to produce management reporting
• Proactive identification of improvements to enhance and automate systems and controls
• Cover and support AUM reporting
• Project manage APAC finance transformation
• Provide wide ranging ad-hoc support to the APAC business and global finance function
• Assist in the development and growth of junior staff in the team

Requirements

• Evidence of track record of project delivery, transformation and critical thinking is required
• Chartered accountant with 5-10 years' experience or qualified by experience
• Experience working in an regional capacity preferred
• Commercial mindset, with experience engaging with real life business scenarios
• Working knowledge of SAP and business intelligence tools an advantage
• Advanced Excel skills, which will be tested
• Familiarity with group structure matrices, including cost centres and inter-companies
• Numerate and methodical with a strong attention to detail and problem solving attitude
• Able to work under pressure within tight deadlines
• Able to manage conflicting demands with minimal supervision
• Track record of working as part of a small team and on own initiative
• Excellent written and spoken English essential; able to communicate clearly in verbal and written form with all levels of seniority
