Job summary

Jebsen Group in Hong Kong seeks a Finance Business Partner to drive data-informed recommendations while overseeing full accounting operations, tax & compliance, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management. You will lead a finance team, ensure robust internal controls, and provide strategic insights to senior management across the organisation, including HK and Macau entities.

Candidates should have 10+ years in finance with managerial experience, strong English/Chinese/Mandarin

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• HKICPA or ACCA qualification.
• Knowledge of HK and Macau accounting rules, taxation and regulations.
• 10+ years of Finance/Accounting experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel; ERP experience preferred.

Purpose of the Job

Act as Finance Business Partner, driving data-informed recommendations while overseeing full accounting operations, tax & compliance, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, internal controls, and team management

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior management and operational teams, providing insightful analysis, recommendations, and decision support based on financial data and business performance.
• Lead the team to handle the full set of accounts, financial and management reporting, cash flow management, financial analysis, budget control, tax compliance, and other general accounting duties.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing cash flow management; monitor performance against budget and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure tax compliance and coordinate related filings and advisory for Hong Kong and Macau operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, working capital improvement, and process enhancements.
• Monitor that internal processes are aligned with Group, Motors Division, and principal’s policies on finance and accounting, as well as all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise the finance team to ensure accurate and efficient daily operations.
• Undertake other duties or projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or equivalent disciplines
• Professional qualifications in Accounting such as HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent
• Knowledge of HK and Macau accounting rules, taxation, and regulations
• At least 10 years relevant Finance / accounting experience with 5 years worked in a Managerial role
• Able to work under pressure with resilience and deliver quality jobs in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and presentation skill
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel; ERP experience preferred
