Job summary

Charterhouse Limited, a HK-based startup in the supply chain, seeks a high-calibre CFO/Head of Finance to lead the finance function. Partner with the CEO on strategic initiatives driving growth and operational efficiency.

You will lead accounting, drive budgeting/forecasting, implement finance automation, and optimize end-to-end processes with strong governance and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Partner with the CEO to drive strategic initiatives that accelerate business growth and enhance internal operational efficiency.
• Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, month-end/year-end close, reconciliations, and audit readiness.
• Drive budgeting/forecasting activities and provide scenario analysis to the leadership team.
• Identify manual finance processes and implement automation and process digitization to improve speed, accuracy, and controls.
• Design, standardize, and optimize accounting operations (e.g., month-end close, reconciliations, AR/AP workflows) with a process-first mindset.
• Implement automation initiatives across finance (data capture, invoice/expense processing, approvals, journal entries, reconciliation automation).

Job Requirement

Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline.

15+ years of finance leadership experience, gained across both sizable organizations and SMEs.

Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

High attention to detail, with the ability to embrace change and continuously improve processes.

People-oriented leadership style, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Complete fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken) is required.
