Job summary

Charterhouse Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Finance Director to lead FP&A transformation and overall finance strategy within a logistics and supply chain business. You will drive automation, governance, and cross-functional collaboration to improve capital efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 16+ years in finance leadership, with fluent English and Chinese, and is comfortable operating in a matrix structure within Greater China.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance/ Accounting or related discipline.
• 16+ years of experience as a finance leader.
• Supply chain/logistics or freight forwarding exposure is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a matrix organization.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Drive finance transformation, standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.
• Analyse financial performance and lead budgeting, forecasting, and reviews to support strategic decisions and resource allocation.
• Oversee strategic projects and shared-service-centre initiatives, tracking delivery, risks, financial outcomes, and benefits.

Job Description

Drive finance transformation, standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Analyse financial performance and lead budgeting, forecasting, and reviews to support strategic decisions and resource allocation.

Oversee strategic projects and shared-service-centre initiatives, tracking delivery, risks, financial outcomes, and benefits.

Strengthen financial policies, governance, internal controls, and tax compliance in line with accounting standards and regulations.

Improve Return on capital employed and capital efficiency through financial analysis, investment insights, and recommendations to senior leaders.

Job Requirement

Degree holder in Finance/ Accounting / other related discipline from credible university

Prior 16+ years of relevant experiences as a Finance leader gained from sizable organisation or multinationals

Supply chain/ logistics or freight forwarding industry and Greater China exposure are definite advantage

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in matrix organization structure

Self starter with the ability to work independently

Complete fluency in English and Chinese is a must
