Job summary

A leading hospitality conglomerate in Hong Kong seeks a Finance professional to oversee a comprehensive range of finance operations. You will report to the Group CEO and manage a sizable team responsible for compliance, financial strategies, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, with at least 12 years of relevant experience and is a qualified accountant (HKICPA or ACCA). Excellent English and Chinese communication skills are essential.

My client is a listed conglomerate, one of the largest hotel group in Hong Kong, with business exposure in property investment & management together with asset management etc, who is urgently looking for a Finance professional to the join the growing team.

Job Description

• Report to Group CEO and manage a sizable team to oversee full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, legal and statutory compliance and internal control etc.
• Responsible for the formulating of financial and operational strategies for the group, monitoring control systems to ensure ongoing compliance of regulatory requirements
• Proactively identity strategic cost optimization opportunities across the group and subsidiaries, and work with the management teams to implement coordinated management programs to drive sustainable cost optimizations
• Formulate Group's accounting and taxation policies/planning and ensure that they are adhered to and that the Group's business is accurately and fairly reported
• Provide financial analysis and commentary for management to make strategic decisions
• Provide commentary to management in explaining business performance and make recommendations

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance or related disciplines
• Qualified Accountant with HKICPA or ACCA
• Minimum 12 years’ experience in accounting and finance fields
• Experienced in a Head of Finance/Senior Finance Manager role in any hospitality / Property Investment/FI will be an advantage
• Strong business sense, demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and across functional groups
• Sound knowledge of corporate governance and investor relations
• Mature, detail oriented, outstanding leadership character, responsible and result driven with the ability to effectively manage workloads and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English and Chinese
