Job summary

AXA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a curious Data Analyst to unlock value from enterprise policy data. You will partner with Actuarial and Finance teams, turning raw data into strategic insights that improve customer value and financial reporting.

The role requires 2+ years as a Data Analyst, strong SQL, Python (pandas/NumPy), and experience building dashboards in Power BI; familiarity with Databricks, Alteryx, and cloud platforms like Azure/AWS is a plus; degree in a quantitative field.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst in a large-scale analytics function.
• Excellent SQL skills for querying enterprise databases.
• Strong Python skills for data manipulation, automation, and analysis (pandas/NumPy).
• Experience building insightful, interactive dashboards in Power BI.
• Experience with Databricks and Alteryx is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a strong plus.
• Graduate or advanced degree in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and automate key performance reports and dashboards for business stakeholders.
• Champion process modernization by re-engineering manual Excel-driven workflows into automated solutions using Python.
• Collaborate with IT to maintain enterprise data marts and act as SME on data structure and availability.
• Develop end-to-end data solutions from extraction to visualization in Power BI for inforce portfolio performance.
• Apply statistical and ML techniques to build segmentation and predictive models.
• Translate analytical findings into clear visualizations and strategic recommendations for retention and cross-sell.
