Job summary

AXA Hong Kong and Macau seeks a curious, technically skilled Data Analyst to unlock value from enterprise-scale policy data. You will partner with Actuarial and business teams to transform raw data into strategic insights, improving customer value and financial reporting.

You will design BI reports and dashboards, automate Excel-driven workflows with Python, and develop end-to-end data solutions for inforce portfolio analysis. A strong background in SQL, Python, and Power BI is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst in a large-scale corporate data or analytics function.
• Excellent SQL skills for querying complex, enterprise-level databases.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis (pandas, NumPy).
• Demonstrable experience building insightful, interactive dashboards in Power BI.
• Experience with modern data platforms like Databricks and data preparation tools like Alteryx is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and automate key performance reports and dashboards for business stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and governance.
• Modernize processes by replacing Excel-driven workflows with automated, scalable Python solutions.
• Partner with IT to maintain enterprise data marts and act as a subject matter expert on data structure and availability.
