Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a Data Analyst/Analytics Associate to automate consolidation of regulatory reporting data and support data validation for timely submissions. You will work on Economic Balance Sheet reporting data, including reinsurance receivables and payables, and identify improvements to data workflows and efficiency.

The role requires a data-focused degree and 2+ years of analytics experience, with strong Python skills and familiarity with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in data-related field.
2+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, reporting, or related field.
Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
Experience with Databricks, Alteryx or similar platforms.
Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
Good communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Automate and streamline consolidation of regulatory reporting data from multiple source systems.
Perform data validation, trend analysis, and quality checks for regulatory submissions.
Automate data preparation and reconciliation for Economic Balance Sheet reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve data workflows, reporting processes, and efficiency.
Support automation projects and ad hoc reporting requests.
