Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Data Analyst for a leading insurance firm in Hong Kong. The role focuses on automating consolidation of in-force and new business data from multiple source systems, developing data validation checks, trend analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory submissions.

You will work with finance, actuarial, and investment datasets, design data transformation workflows, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Python is required.
• Experience with Databricks and Alteryx is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Automate and streamline the consolidation of in-force and new business data from multiple source systems.
• Develop and enhance data validation checks, trend analysis, and control frameworks to improve the accuracy and consistency of regulatory submissions.
• Support the delivery of reporting requirements for HKIA and AMCM.
• Ensure data integrity across finance, actuarial, and investment datasets.
• Identify opportunities to improve data flows, reporting processes, and operational efficiency.
• Design, document, and maintain data transformation logic, workflows, and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable and sustainable data solutions.
