Job summary

Census and Statistics Department is recruiting for a non-civil service contract position to support the data collection for a government survey in Hong Kong. The role involves conducting telephone interviews and visiting business establishments to help respondents complete forms.

Successful candidates will work under Census and Survey Officers, with outdoor duties and flexible hours; basic computer skills are required, and prior fieldwork experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must meet HKDSEE Level 2 or HKCEE Level 2 in five subjects (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Chinese and English languages.
• Able to read and write Chinese and English.
• Able to speak fluent Cantonese, Putonghua and English.
• Basic computer operation knowledge.
• Preferable: fieldwork/survey experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect statistical data and assist respondents in completing survey forms.
• Conduct telephone interviews and visit business establishments for data collection (outdoor work).
• Work under supervision of Census and Survey Officers; perform duties as required.
