Job summary

Technoprobe Asia Pte Ltd is seeking an applications support engineer to deliver technical solutions for probe cards and support customers across Singapore and internationally.

You will work with sales teams to capture requirements, collaborate with HQ, and guide products through evaluation, qualification, and mass production. Fresh graduates are welcome; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree, Diploma or ITE in Electrical/Electronics engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver application support and technical solutions for probe cards to customers across Singapore and overseas.
• Provide onsite support to identify customer requirements and resolve probe-related issues with the sales team.
• Learn new products by working with HQ counterparts and support customers in probe card issues.
• Support customers through the full product development lifecycle from evaluation to mass production.
• Give technical feedback to internal teams and ensure RMAs are repaired before return.
• Collaborate with customer product engineers to troubleshoot and ensure production readiness.
• Participate in DOE projects at customer sites to enhance probe card testing performance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet diverse customer needs and ensure high satisfaction.

About the role

Deliver application support and technical solutions for probe cards to customers across Singapore and overseas. Support customers throughout the full product development lifecycle, including evaluation, qualification, and mass production. Work closely with customer product engineers to troubleshoot, validate, and ensure probe cards are production-ready.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver application support and technical solutions for probe cards to customers across Singapore and overseas
• Partner with the sales team to identify customer requirements and provide onsite support to resolve probe-related issues
• Work closely with HQ counterparts to acquire knowledge of new products and technologies, and support customers in resolving probe card issues
• Support customers throughout the full product development lifecycle, including evaluation, qualification, and mass production
• Provide technical feedback to internal teams and ensure RMA probe cards undergo necessary repairs before being returned to customers
• Work closely with customer product engineers to troubleshoot, validate, and ensure probe cards are production-ready
• Participate in DOE projects at customer sites to enhance probe card testing performance
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including HQ counterparts, to address diverse customer needs and ensure high customer satisfaction

About you

• Degree, Diploma, or ITE in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of electronic components and their applications
• Demonstrated ability in analytical thinking and effective problem solving
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to customers
• Customer-focused, proactive, and equipped with a strong problem-solving mindset
• Hands-on experience with PCBA-level components, connectors, wireless or electromechanical modules, and analog and digital applications is an added advantage
