Job summary

Urban Renewal Authority 市區重建局 in Hong Kong is seeking a surveying/ housing property support officer to assist in data collection for compensation assessments and re-housing, conduct site inspections, and coordinate with owners, tenants and occupiers. The role requires an associate degree or above in surveying or related discipline and at least one year of relevant experience.

You will work outdoors, sometimes after hours, and may hold an Estate Agent Licence.

Qualifications

Associate degree or above in surveying or related field.
At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
Good communication in Chinese and English; Putonghua preferred.
High integrity and initiative.
Knowledge in computer software; able to use basic office tools.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Willing to work outdoors and outside office hours.
Estate Agent Licence will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

To collect data and documents for assessment of compensation and re-housing.
To conduct various freezing surveys.
To implement project engagement programmes for future acquisition, re-housing and clearance.
To conduct site inspections and measure properties; interview and negotiate with owners, tenants and occupiers for settlement.
To assist in compiling data and records and preparing documents.
To perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
