Job summary

Huatai International Financial Holdings Company Limited seeks an accomplished FICC trading professional in Hong Kong to oversee hedging across offshore and onshore products, including USD bonds and derivatives.

You will leverage Bloomberg, Tradeweb and MarketAxess to manage risk, execute RFQs, and collaborate with sales and structuring to serve institutional clients. Mandarin and English proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field; CFA/FRM a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in FICC trading with credit bonds and IR/FX products.
• Familiarity with offshore trading systems (Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, Murex/Calypso).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for hedging execution on behalf of clients across FICC structured products.
• Utilize IRS, CCS and other FX/interest rate hedging to manage liquidity and risk.
• Monitor cross-border channels and identify cross-asset, cross-currency opportunities.
• Maintain partnerships with counterparties and liquidity providers; ensure competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with sales/structuring to market to institutional clients; support trade execution end-to-end.

Job Description

• Responsible for hedging execution on behalf of clients across FICC Structured products, including offshore USD bonds, Dim Sum bonds, AT1, CB/EB etc. Skillfully deploy IRS, CCS, and other FX and interest rate hedging instruments to manage portfolio liquidity and risk exposure.


• Depth proficiency in various cross-border investment channels (Bond Connect, QDII/RQDII, Cross-Boundary WM Connect, etc.). Closely monitor market developments and evolving clients need to identify and capture cross-asset, cross-currency trading opportunities for onshore clients investing in offshore markets.


• Maintain strong partnerships with counterparties, brokers, and liquidity providers. Through regular and effective RFQ processes and comprehensive multi-party price comparisons, consistently secure competitive pricing and ample liquidity to ensure seamless and reliable trade execution.


• Contribute actively to the continuous improvement and innovation of trading systems and electronic trading platforms. Lead efforts to integrate multi- channel trading workflows, enhancing overall execution efficiency and promoting automation.


• Work closely with Sales and structuring team to market products effectively to institutional investors, corporations, and hedge funds. Facilitate the entire trade execution process to ensure it runs smoothly from start to finish.

Qualification

• Master\u2019s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (CFA/FRM a plus).


• 10+ years of experience in FICC trading, with demonstrated expertise in credit bonds, interest rate/FX products, and derivatives.


• Familiarity with major offshore trading systems (Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, Murex/Calypso, etc.) is required.


• Strong learning agility, communication skills, and team collaboration spirit. Ability to maintain clear judgment and efficient execution under pressure.


• Fluency in Mandarin and English (required for internal/external communication).
