Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific in Hong Kong is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for operating and maintaining a portfolio of small to medium buildings. You will supervise staff, coordinate repairs, manage budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include capital project planning, vendor management, and establishing efficient processes to deliver reliable facilities services for clients. Prior leadership experience in facilities management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3–5 years of relevant facilities management experience.
• Experience leading teams, coaching staff, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Strong organizational and budgeting skills, with attention to safety and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruitment.
• Schedule and manage the team's daily activities, set schedules and deadlines, and coach staff.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and ensure compliance with regulations; suggest improvements.
• Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing; review quotes for parts and services.
• Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
• Lead by example, align with CBRE RISE values, and collaborate with stakeholders to reach agreements.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues in systems and processes.
