Job summary

CUHK Business School in Hong Kong is seeking an Executive Officer I in the Office of EMBA (Chinese) Programme to drive recruitment initiatives and strengthen ties with government bodies, alumni, and the business community.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, the role requires a Master’s degree or higher, at least 8 years’ post‑qualification executive experience, and excellent English and Chinese communication, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Business or a related discipline.
• Excellent command of written and verbal English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese).
• At least 8 years of post-qualification executive experience, preferably in higher education.
• Strong administrative and business development experience with teams and projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating and executing the recruitment plan and market development strategies.
• Draft and implement strategies to strengthen ties with government bodies, alumni, and business community.
• Manage outreach activities to promote the School’s initiatives to government agencies and stakeholders.
• Serve as the key contact for the programme and maintain effective communication with applicants and students.
• Analyze market positioning, conduct market research, and gather competitor intelligence.
• Develop promotional copy, coordinate event follow‑ups, and report on marketing/communication efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned with flexible hours and occasional travel.
