Job summary

The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts is expanding its Hong Kong operations with a dedicated housekeeping leadership role at The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will oversee housekeeping and laundry, maintain top-tier cleanliness, and drive cost-efficient operations.

We seek a candidate with a minimum of 5 years in luxury hotel housekeeping leadership, fluent in English and Mandarin, with strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of housekeeping management in a luxury hotel.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
• Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure standards are met.
• Ensure both departments provide the highest standards of excellence in products, physical atmosphere, and services.
• Maintain superior standards of cleanliness and quality in both public and staff areas.
• Prepare the annual departmental operating budget and financial plan. Operate within the budget through effective stock and cost controls, and well-managed schedules to accommodate upcoming occupancy.
• Set departmental targets, work schedules, and policies & procedures.
• Schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure that all fixtures, fittings, linens, and appliances are in good repair to meet guest satisfaction.
• Accumulate guest preferences and create a comprehensive guest relationship database.
• Manage daily staffing requirements, providing training, coaching, and regular feedback to improve staff performance.
• Closely monitor the work performance of outside contractors.

The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts owns and operates two award-winning hotels in Singapore: The Fullerton Hotel Singapore (opened in 2001) and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore (opened in 2010). Both hotels anchor the historic and cultural Fullerton Heritage precinct, located in Marina Bay - the heart of Singapore’s city centre. The Fullerton Hotel Sydney debuted in October 2019, in the historic former Sydney General Post Office, marking The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts’ first international expansion.

The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong will be the first waterfront resort on Hong Kong Island, with over 400 guest rooms overlooking the spectacular South China Sea, located at the foot of the city’s most popular attraction in the Southside.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of housekeeping management experience in a luxury hotel
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Good understanding of housekeeping management systems and processes
• Attention to detail with the ability to multitask
• Proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
