Job summary

Endeavour Search Ltd. in Hong Kong seeks an Executive Director for Property Development to lead the division, shape development strategies, and guide projects from inception through completion.

The role requires proven leadership, a track record of managing large multi-disciplinary schemes, and expertise in smart building technologies, sustainability, and regulatory interfaces. A senior operator with global perspectives is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Architecture, Building, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a construction-related discipline.
• Full member or fellow of HKIA, HKIE, HKIS, or other recognized professional bodies.
• Minimum of 20 years’ post-qualification experience, with at least 10 years in a senior management role.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary property development projects.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledgeable in the latest trends in smart building technologies and sustainable design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Property Development Division, aligning strategies with corporate objectives.
• Define and implement development strategies for projects from inception to completion.
• Provide strategic input to the Board of Directors on property development matters.
• Project management.
• Supervise feasibility studies including technical and financial analysis of new projects.
• Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution of development projects.
• Incorporate innovative and sustainable technologies into building design and construction.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across internal departments and external stakeholders including consultants, contractors, and government bodies.
• Oversee the procurement and management of contracts, including planning, tendering, and cost control.
• Monitor and manage performance of consultants and contractors to meet project goals.
