CIF Asset Management Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an Execution Trader with 1–2 years buy-side experience to join our front-office team. The role focuses on global macro and equity long-short strategies, requiring strong Bloomberg proficiency and familiarity with OMS/PMS systems.
Responsibilities include executing trades, monitoring risk, managing stock borrow availability, and maintaining trading infrastructure.

A SFC-licensed boutique asset management firm in Hong Kong operating a high-conviction global Macro and Equity Long-Short hedge fund strategy. We are looking for an experienced, high-caliber Trader with 1-2 years of buy-side track record to join our growing front-office team.
Job Responsibilities:
Trade Execution: Execute trade orders across global Equities, Futures, and Commodities in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.
Portfolio & Risk Monitoring: Actively monitor real-time portfolio exposure, position risks, and market liquidity. Proactively alert Portfolio Managers (PMs) to significant market news, block flows, and abrupt price movements.
SBL & FX Management: Actively manage stock borrow availability.
System & Operations Management: Oversee and maintain front-to-back trading systems (OMS/PMS); act as the key liaison with system providers to troubleshoot infrastructure or connectivity issues. Ensure accurate end-of-day position reconciliation and reporting.
Market Intelligence: Update and synthesize market data, macro/country insights, and sector/industry information to support front-office decision-making.
Job Specifications & Requirements:
Experience: 1-2 years of solid trading experience within a buy-side institution (Hedge Fund, Asset Management) or more than 2 years within a top-tier sell-side trading desk.
Technical Skills: Highly proficient in Bloomberg system. Hands-on experience with Broadridge OMS & PMS (or similar buy-side systems) is a distinct advantage.
Product Knowledge: Strong operational and execution knowledge of global Equities, listed Futures, and Commodities options/derivatives.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering.
Working Hours & Flexibility: Able to cover global financial market trading hours (specifically 21:00 - 02:00 HKT covering US/Europe markets). 5 days’ work week (including HK public holidays where global markets are open). Shift work may be required.
Soft Skills: Exceptionally meticulous, calm under market pressure, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Languages: Native/Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese.
Availability: Immediate availability or short notice period is highly preferred.
