Job summary

Brevan Howard in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced execution trader to support multi-asset trading activities. The role collaborates with portfolio managers globally and across offices to optimize execution quality and liquidity across Fixed Income, FX, Equities, and more.

The candidate should have 2+ years in execution/trade support, strong Excel/VBA/SQL/Python skills, and a solid grasp of market mechanics and infrastructure. Strong teamwork and independent work capability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in execution trading or trade support.

• Experience across multiple asset classes: FI, FX, Credit, Rates, Equities, ETDs.

Responsibilities

• Provide execution services across asset classes to PMs globally.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

Essential Responsibilities:

The CEX desk is a team that locates in a few geographic locations and trades multi assets (Fixed Income, Equity, FX, Credit, Commods + Digital) across DM and EM Markets. The role is located in the Hong Kong office, and work closely with other team members across different offices.

• Provide execution services across different asset classes to portfolio managers globally
• Source liquidity through various execution channels and manage relationships with counterparties (banks/brokers)
• Ensure best execution practices with low transaction slippage
• Monitor market moves/flow/themes, and highlight those to PMs if needed
• Monitor trade ideas from sell-side, and highlight those to PMs if needed

PERSON SPECIFICATION

WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:

• Undergraduate degree in a numerate discipline
• A strong understanding of financial markets and different financial products
