Job summary

BREVAN HOWARD ASSET MANAGEMENT LLP's Hong Kong office is seeking an experienced execution trader/trade support professional to join the CEX desk. The role covers multi-asset execution across FI, equity, FX, credit, commodities, and digital assets with PMs globally.

You will source liquidity, manage counterparty relations, ensure best execution with low slippage, and monitor market moves and sell-side ideas to inform PMs. A minimum of 2 years in execution trading is required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a numerate discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of execution trading/trade support experience.
• Advanced Excel and knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python.
• Cross asset class experience: FI, FX, Credit, Rates, Equities, ETDs.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and evidence of process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide execution services across asset classes to portfolio managers globally.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

Essential Responsibilities:

The CEX desk is a team that locates in a few geographic locations and trades multi assets (Fixed Income, Equity, FX, Credit, Commods + Digital) across DM and EM Markets. The role is located in the Hong Kong office, and work closely with other team members across different offices.

• Provide execution services across different asset classes to portfolio managers globally
• Source liquidity through various execution channels and manage relationships with counterparties (banks/brokers)
• Ensure best execution practices with low transaction slippage
• Monitor market moves/flow/themes, and highlight those to PMs if needed
• Monitor trade ideas from sell-side, and highlight those to PMs if needed

PERSON SPECIFICATION

WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:

• A strong understanding of financial markets and different financial products
