Job summary

Regent Hong Kong is seeking an experienced sales professional to manage wedding and social events from lead generation through post-event follow-up. You will deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue growth and upselling opportunities.

You will develop in-depth knowledge of the wedding and social events market, monitor market conditions, and implement tactical packages. You will also handle client negotiations and work toward annual revenue goals and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; strong client relationship and sales skills.
• Sophisticated interpersonal and communication abilities; leadership qualities.
• Proven track record in managing long sales cycles and nurturing accounts.
• Ability to work under pressure and on weekends/public holidays when needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Responsible to deliver highest level of guest experience from lead generation and conversion, to handling their requirements to post-event follow-up
• Reach and exceed yearly budget as well as upsell target assigned
• Develop in-depthknowledge of the wedding and social events market, including client preferences and industry trends
• Keep abreast of market condition and competitors' activities to formulate business strategy
• Implementtactical/seasonal packages to enhanceconversion ratio and to maximize upselling opportunities
• Promote to clients and to solicit business, handle contract negotiation for any business from wedding and social segments
• Achieve individual, team revenue goal and KPOs as determined at the beginning of each year

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Sophisticated interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and leadership skills
• Knowledge in Delphi and Opera systems is an advantage
• Demonstrated success in nurturing accounts through lengthy sales cycles
• Maintain a high level of knowledge pertaining to policy and procedure and communicateknowledge effectively to all personnel when applicable
• Demonstrate clear and effective verbal and written skills for the purpose of obtaining and conveying information to clients, technicians, management and team members as well as producing reports
• Ability to work under pressure andwork over weekends or public holidays as required
• Candidates with less experience maybe considered as Assistant Event Sales Manager
