Job summary

Rainbow Foundation in Hong Kong is seeking a highly enthusiastic, creative and self-motivated candidate to lead events, fundraising campaigns and related communication efforts.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Marketing, Communications or related field, with 11–15 years’ experience in marketing and/or event management with NGO fundraising, 6–8 years in supervision, strong client servicing and bilingual English/Chinese, and the ability to work independently, including weekends when required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
• 11–15 years in marketing and/or event management with NGO fundraising preferred.
• 6–8 years of supervision experience and strong problem solving.
• Strong client servicing, communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are now looking for a highly enthusiastic, creative and self-motivated candidate to join our RAINBOW FOUNDATION which is a charitable institution serving the underprivileged in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver all aspects of events and fundraising activities;
• Design promotional campaigns and formulate communication strategies to maximize exposure, public participation and donations;
• Establish cross-sector cooperation and communication and expand partnerships with social welfare organizations, schools and corporations;
• Conduct presentation, prepare proposals, quotation and regular reports;
• Supervise 3-4 junior staff on daily operation.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field;
• Minimum11-15 years’ experience inmarketing, and/or event management with fundraising and experience in NGO would be highly preferred;
• Minimum6-8 years’ experience in supervision role with exceptional skills in problem solving;
• Strong client servicing, communication and coordination skills;
• Self-motivated, proactive, innovative and able to work independently;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Proficient in computer skills including MS Office;
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays on occasion.

Less experience willl be considered as Assistant Event & Communication Manager.
