Pathology Associates is seeking an Equity Sales professional to join our team, offering full-time or part-time remote work. You will advise institutional clients on HKEX and TSE biotech and pharmaceutical equities and build long-term relationships.

You will collaborate with analysts to deliver research, identify opportunities, and help onboard clients to our research service while upholding the highest ethical standards.

Formación

• 1–2 years equity sales experience in banking/brokerage or financial services.
• Finance or accounting qualification desirable.
• Solid understanding of equity markets and valuation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present to Portfolio Managers.
• Native English and Mandarin.
• Proven track record with institutional clients.

Responsabilidades

About the role

Pathology Associates is seeking an Equity Sales professional to join our team. In this full-time or part-time, remote work role, you will be responsible for providing expert investment advice on HKEX and TSE listed biotech and pharmaceutical companies to institutional clients.

What you'll be doing

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of Institutional Fund Managers

Work with our analysts to provide investment research and analysis to support timely client decision-making

Formalize our relationship with current and new institutional users of our research by facilitating onboarding or subscription to our service

Collaborating with our research team to identify timely market opportunities in Chinese or Japanese life science equities

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our equity sales processes, AI implementation, and client relationships

Daily tasks include coordinating with internal research staff, preparing and presenting equity insights to fund managers, providing investment recommendations by email/voicemail, and approaching administrative staff at institutional investors to facilitate and promote compensation of our services

What we’re looking for

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an equity sales or similar role within the banking/brokerage or financial services industry. Financial / Accounting qualification highly desirable

Strong understanding of equity markets, equity valuation, and equity sales processes and strategies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information, valuations, and investment ideas to Portfolio Managers

Native English and Mandarin

Proven track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships. Existing relationships with buy-side clients at major institutions highly desirable

Proficient in financial modeling using .xlsx and equity valuation methodologies

Passionate about staying up-to-date with pharmaceutical/biotech industry developments globally and the impact on covered companies

Commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics, compliance, and confidentiality
