Job summary

Michael Page (Hong Kong) is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst in Global Technology to conduct fundamental equity research and support portfolio managers in construction and decision-making. The role emphasizes technology, semiconductors, and cyclical sectors across global markets.

The candidate will build financial models, generate investment ideas, and prepare committee materials. English fluency required; Mandarin advantageous, with strong analytical capabilities and market awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7–12 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong knowledge of Technology and/or Semiconductor sectors preferred.
• Experience from asset management or related financial services is welcome.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Mandarin is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental equity research covering Technology/Semiconductors across Asia and global markets.
• Generate differentiated, high-conviction investment ideas through company analysis and valuation.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and earnings forecasts.
• Support portfolio managers in portfolio construction, monitoring, and risk assessment.
• Prepare investment committee materials and research reports.
• Monitor market developments, earnings results and company events.
• Perform ad hoc investment research projects as needed.
