Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking a Sales Analyst for Equity Derivatives in Hong Kong. You will support equity derivatives sales and trading by delivering critical analysis and insights, dashboarding, and trade-related reporting.

The role requires 1–2 years in Front/Middle Office or Operations within a financial institution, with advanced Excel and knowledge of equity derivatives. Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in Front Office, Middle Office, Sales Support, Trade Support, or Operations in a reputable financial institution.
• Knowledge of equity derivatives products (options, swaps, structured products); exposure to quantitative finance is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work across multiple teams.
• Advanced Excel skills; VBA and/or Python would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Front Office Sales and Trading to ensure trades and P&L are captured in internal systems.
• Prepare trade recaps, term sheets, and other transaction documents for clients.
• Ensure trade bookings are accurately reflected across front-to-back systems and reconcile with counterparties.
• Develop understanding of front-to-back workflows, STP, and investigate trade lifecycle issues.
• Collaborate with Controllers, Settlements, Confirmations, and Reconciliation teams to resolve trade-related exceptions.
