Job summary

Citi in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior COO/Business Execution professional to support Equity Sales, Prime, Futures and related services. You will partner with Legal, Risk, Finance, Operations, Technology and Compliance to ensure effective governance and strong control frameworks across regulatory changes.

The role requires deep knowledge of equities, front-to-back trade flows, and proven execution of strategic projects within a large matrix organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in COO/Business Execution roles, preferably in Equities.
• Strong front-to-back understanding of trades and booking flows.
• Experience driving day-to-day execution and strategic projects in a large matrix organization.
• Detail oriented with strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Self-driven with ability to work independently under limited supervision.
• Experience escalating and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Excel and PowerPoint expertise; data analytics knowledge (Tableau, PowerBI) a plus.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships; team player.

Responsibilities

• Review analytics on client wallet gaps and mitigate proposals.
• Drive control improvement projects related to regulatory change.
• Lead and coordinate the implementation of New Product capabilities.
• Streamline processes with front-to-back partners; build consistent policies and procedures.
• Drive efficiency, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives with senior management.
• Review processes and ensure new controls are comprehensive.
• Investigate issues and perform root cause analysis; deliver remediation actions.
