Job summary

King Deux Search & Consulting is seeking a Partnership / BD / Sales Assistant Manager for a music, entertainment and pop culture focus in Hong Kong. The role builds and manages partnerships, negotiates sponsorships, and drives revenue through media activations.

You will identify opportunities with media companies, agencies, and brands, pitch proposals, and collaborate with marketing and operations to execute campaigns leveraging pop culture trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, media, or related field.
• 5+ years in partnership/business development, event marketing, media/advertising sales in entertainment.
• Proven track record securing partnerships and media/advertising sales in entertainment.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication in Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) and English.
• Creative mindset for entertainment-focused partnership concepts.
• Familiarity with media, advertising, retail, hospitality, or entertainment industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with media companies, advertising agencies, and entertainment brands to explore collaborative opportunities in pop culture, including Jpop and Kpop.
• Proactively identify and pitch new advertising and sponsorship prospects within the music and entertainment sectors; negotiate contracts and manage the end-to-end sales process.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of advertising and sponsorship activations featuring entertainment elements.
• Analyze advertising and sponsorship performance data to optimize media offerings and maximize revenue generation in the entertainment context.
• Identify, pitch, negotiate, and secure partnership agreements for temporary or seasonal activations, pop-up shops, and promotional events related to music and entertainment.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive activities, and new partnership models in pop culture to identify innovative opportunities.
