Job summary

Michael Page (Hong Kong) is seeking an AI Engineer/ML Engineer to design, develop and maintain AI-powered applications across business initiatives. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities that improve efficiency and value while delivering production-grade AI solutions.

You will drive full lifecycle development, integrate systems via APIs, and work with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years' experience in software engineering, AI engineering, data science, or a related field.
Proven experience developing and deploying production-grade AI or intelligent automation solutions.
Strong programming skills and experience building scalable applications in modern development environments.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and modern software engineering practices.
Knowledge of application architecture, system integration, and software development lifecycle methodologies.
Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Self-motivated team player with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications to support diverse business initiatives.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can drive operational efficiency and business value.
Build intelligent solutions leveraging modern AI methodologies and emerging technologies.
Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from proof of concept through deployment and ongoing optimization.
Develop application services and integrate internal and external systems through APIs and related technologies.
Partner with engineering, analytics, and product teams in an agile and continuous delivery environment.
Establish testing, evaluation, and monitoring frameworks to ensure solution reliability and performance.
Research and assess new technologies to continuously improve application capabilities and user experience.
