Job summary

Michael Page (Hong Kong) is partnering with a leading public-sector financial institution undergoing a major digital transformation. The AI/ML Platform Engineer will design, build, and support enterprise AI/ML platform capabilities across the technology ecosystem.

You will develop software services and APIs, enhance platform reliability and observability, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement modern engineering and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering/IT.
• Experience in software/platform engineering or enterprise app development.
• Strong programming capability with modern languages and frameworks.
• Exposure to AI/ML, data platforms, or advanced analytics environments.
• Experience with cloud, containers, automation, or IaC is advantageous.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and platform support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise AI/ML platform capabilities across the technology ecosystem.
• Build and integrate software services, APIs, and platform components for AI solutions.
• Enhance platform reliability, performance, observability, and automation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement modern engineering and CD practices.
• Support deployment and lifecycle management of ML/analytics in production.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements for scalability.
• Collaborate on infrastructure and cloud modernization initiatives.
• Work with stakeholders to deliver innovative tech solutions aligned with business goals.
