LUNHUA EDUCATION INVESTMENT (HONG KONG) LIMITED is seeking an experienced English teacher to cover kindergarten through secondary levels across local and international curricula. You will deliver phonics, YLE, KET/PET/FCE, and IELTS/TOEFL prep while aligning lesson plans with target scores.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in English or related field, at least 1 year of teaching experience, near-native English, and Hong Kong working rights. Fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Translation or English Language Education; overseas qualifications preferred.
• 1+ year of English teaching / tutoring experience; tuition-centre or international-curriculum experience preferred.
• Familiar with the requirements and marking criteria of HKDSE English papers; ability to teach IB / IGCSE English an advantage.
• Near-native English, able to teach entirely in English; must hold one of IELTS 7.5+, TOEFL 105+, HKDSE 5* / 5**, TEM-8, or a degree taught in English

Responsabilités

• Teach English across local and international curricula from kindergarten to secondary.
• Deliver phonics, Cambridge Young Learners (YLE) and KET / PET / FCE programmes.
• Deliver IELTS and TOEFL preparation with levelled training aligned to target scores.
• Prepare lesson plans, handouts and graded exercises; mark compositions with actionable score-improvement feedback.
• Train grammar, reading comprehension techniques and listening/integrated skills (HKDSE Paper 3).
• Coach spoken English (HKDSE Paper 4 discussion and individual response; Cambridge speaking tests)
• Conduct trial classes, open classes and parent seminars in English to support conversion
• Own re-enrolment rate, refund/dropout rate and student satisfaction; contribute to curriculum development

About you

Fluent Cantonese for parent communication; Putonghua an advantage

Must hold valid working rights in Hong Kong (Hong Kong Permanent Resident, IANG visa, or other valid work visa)
