Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a senior engineering leader to shape technology strategy and drive product development across hardware, firmware, mechanical and product teams in a global technology context.

The role requires proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams, defining long-term roadmaps, and partnering with operations, quality, supply chain and commercial functions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in product development and engineering leadership in technology-driven environments, especially Power Solutions.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing complex development programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams across hardware, firmware, mechanical and product development functions.
• Define and execute engineering strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Drive new product development initiatives, ensuring quality, cost, delivery and performance targets are achieved.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including operations, quality, supply chain, manufacturing and commercial teams.
• Serve as a senior technical and business representative in customer engagements and strategic discussions.
• Oversee site operations, including organisational planning, team development, recruitment and performance management.
• Promote engineering best practices, continuous improvement and innovation across the organisation.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to support future business growth.

The Successful Applicant

• Strong strategic planning, stakeholder management and organisational leadership capabilities.
• Experience working closely with manufacturing and operations teams to support product commercialisation and scaling.
• Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-regional collaborations within a global organisation.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
• Willingness to travel periodically as required.
