Job summary

HK Express is seeking a Supervisor, Engineering Commercial to oversee sourcing, supplier engagement, and contracting within the Maintenance & Engineering department. You will source and evaluate suppliers for aircraft maintenance, repairs, and materials, and lead negotiations to balance cost, service level, and quality.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement and legal teams, maintain supplier records, and drive cost-control initiatives while ensuring compliance with aviation

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in airline engineering, procurement, MRO, or aviation.
• Understanding of sourcing, tendering, and contract administration processes.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, problem solving and coordination skills.
• Team-oriented with analytical and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with SGHA and aviation regulatory and quality requirements is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and English/Chinese (Mandarin preferred).

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate maintenance and engineering suppliers.
• Lead RFP/RFQ and contract terms negotiations to optimize cost and quality.
• Maintain supplier database, contract records, and performance reports.
• Manage supplier relationships and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with maintenance, procurement and legal to draft and approve contracts.
• Conduct market analysis for suppliers, pricing trends, and cost savings.
• Ensure supplier compliance with aviation regs (EASA/FAA/HKCAD) and quality standards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost control for engineering commercials.
• Drive procurement and contract management improvement initiatives.
• Handle ad-hoc projects from management.
