Job summary

Rec-Engineering-Co-Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a diligent Assistant Engineer to support routine electrical engineering duties at our Kwai Hing and Hong Kong Island sites. You will assist engineers, participate in site coordination, inspections, testing, reporting and filing, and liaise with contractors under HK Electric's Engineer guidance.

The role requires a Diploma, safety training, and an electrical workforce registration; a valid driving license is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in electrical/building services engineering; experience considered.
• Holder of Safety Training certificates (Green Card) is required.
• Registered Electrical Worker Grade A0 or above is essential.
• Valid basic safety training for construction work is required.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering from Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / Technical College / Technical Institute, or equivalent (Applicants with lesser qualification but with extensive experience on electrical work will also be considered);
• Holder of Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card);
• Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A0 or above);
• Valid certificates for Mandatory Basic Safety Training (Construction Work) etc.
• Valid driving license will be an advantage;
• At least 1 year of relevant experience (Experience in power plant / transmission system and public utilities will be an advantage).

Other Information

• Contract Period: from June 2026 to August 2028;
• Work Locations: Lamma Power Station and Hong Kong Island (as assigned by HK Electric);
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 to 17:45 (including 1 hour lunch break);
• Time-off compensation will be arranged in lieu of the overtime working hours.
