Job summary

Ad Infinitum Engineering Company Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an E&M & PLC Engineer for water treatment projects. You will be responsible for PLC programming, drawing works, system analysis and optimisation, coordinating with the Engineering Manager and General Manager on project matters.

The role requires a Higher Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, hands-on PLC experience (Siemens, Panasonic, Omron, Allen-Bradley, Simatic S7), and a Grade A Electrical Licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens, Panasonic, Omron, Allen-Bradley, Simatic S7).
• Grade A Electrical Licence is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 3 years working experience, with at least 2 years in automation control.
• Experience in water-treatment or swimming-pool E&M works is advantageous.
• Competent in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for engineering drawing.
• Capable to analyse operating conditions of electrical circuits and PLC programs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site progress, liaise with clients, report project status to management.
• Analyse electrical circuits and PLC programs, optimise systems; design, install, test and troubleshoot.
• Develop and program PLC & SCADA systems to optimise performance.

Job description

We are a fast‑growing Hong‑Kong‑based environmental solutions company with subsidiaries in Mainland China. We are now recruiting an E&M & PLC Engineer for our water treatment projects, responsible for PLC programming, drawing works, system analysis & optimisation. Candidates with Grade A Electrical Licence are highly preferred. The role requires regular communication with Engineering Manager and General Manager for project matters.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor site progress, liaise with clients, report project status and issues to Engineering Manager / General Manager.

Analyse and evaluate operating conditions of every electrical circuit and each line of PLC program, carry out system optimisation; perform design, installation, testing and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, PLC and SCADA systems.

Develop and program PLC & SCADA systems to achieve optimum performance.

Co‑coordinate site technicians to ensure quality workmanship, smooth execution and site safety.

Conduct material control to maintain adequate material supply for projects.

Prepare project documentation including testing, commissioning and PLC installation reports; produce engineering drawings.

Co‑operate with PLC project team for smooth work hand‑over.

Supervise on‑site installation, monitor work quality, progress and safety.

Requirements

Higher Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.

Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens, Panasonic, Omron, Allen‑Bradley, Simatic S7 preferred). Possession of Grade A Electrical Licence is a strong advantage.

Minimum 3years of working experience, with at least 2years solid hands‑on experience in automation control.

Prior experience in water‑treatment system or swimming‑pool E&M works is an advantage.

Competent in AutoCAD and / or SolidWorks for engineering drawing.

Capable to analyse operating conditions of electrical circuits and PLC program codes and implement system optimisation.

Strong team player with high self-initiative and willingness to learn.

Ability to work independently.
