Job summary

Woo Hop Lee Electrical Company Limited is seeking an Electrical Engineer or Assistant Engineer to contribute to hands‑on building services projects from coordination and submission through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.

You will work directly with experienced project staff, clients, consultants, main contractors and subcontractors, gaining clear career development paths and practical exposure across multiple project stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher diploma in electrical/building services engineering or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience for the Engineer position; fresh graduates considered for Assistant Engineer.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good written and spoken Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical building services works with clients, consultants, architects, main contractors and subcontractors.
• Review drawings and resolve design clashes and site installation issues.
• Prepare shop drawings, material submissions, method statements and other project documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor installation progress, workmanship, safety and quality.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, authority inspections and project handover.
• Monitor project programmes and follow up outstanding site and technical matters.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors regarding technical information and material delivery.
• Assist in variation works, progress records and project coordination.

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer or Assistant Engineer who wants hands-on project experience and a clear path for career development.

You will have the opportunity to participate in electrical building services projects from coordination and submission through installation, testing, commissioning and project completion. You will work directly with experienced project staff, clients, consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate electrical building services works with clients, consultants, architects, main contractors and subcontractors.

Review drawings and resolve design clashes and site installation issues.

Prepare shop drawings, material submissions, method statements and other project documentation.

Conduct site inspections and monitor installation progress, workmanship, safety and quality.

Requirements

Candidates with less experience or fresh graduates will be considered for the Assistant Engineer position.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Good written and spoken Chinese and English.

Responsible, willing to learn and comfortable working in a site-based project environment.
