Job summary

ARCH Education, a Hong Kong-based learning institute, is seeking an Early Years Instructor (English) to deliver engaging lessons for young learners. You will teach Phonics, Storytelling, Cambridge English, and other literacy courses in a vibrant learning-centre setting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in education or English, and at least 2 years’ experience with ESL/EAL in bilingual or international environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, English, Linguistics, TESOL, Early Childhood Education, or related discipline.
• TESOL, CELTA, TEFL, Dip TESOL, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching early childhood learners.
• Experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or English as an Additional Language (EAL).
• Experience working in kindergarten, learning centre, international school, or bilingual education settings.
• Experience delivering ECA and enrichment programmes.
• Experience teaching synthetic phonics and early literacy skills is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with international, bilingual, or multicultural educational environments is an advantage.
• Passionate about teaching and inspiring early childhood learners.
• Caring, patient, attentive, and energetic personality.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and language acquisition.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Creative and engaging teaching approach.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging English lessons for early childhood learners in a learning centre environment.
• Deliver Aspire English programmes, including Phonics, Storytelling, Cambridge English, and other literacy-based courses.
• Create a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to parents.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities.
• Participate in staff training, curriculum planning, and programme development.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
