Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking dynamic, experienced professionals to join our banking and financial services practice in a senior associate/engagement role. You will break down complex client problems and deliver structured analyses with impact.

You will lead small teams, mentor juniors, and partner with clients to translate insights into actionable recommendations while traveling as needed. This is a full-time opportunity in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• At least 5-8 years of Financial Services experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or industry exposure.
• In-depth knowledge of the sector, from either industry or consultancy backgrounds.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills to conduct and present sophisticated analyses.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in formal and informal settings.
• Proactive mindset, eager to learn new skills and apply existing ones.
• Creativity to generate novel ideas for client problems.
• Aptitude for analytical work, including large data sets.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Break down complex business problems into clear, discrete workstreams and tasks.
• Identify critical drivers and guide junior consultants to focus on what matters.
• Plan and execute rigorous analyses with quality, structure, and speed.
• Diagnose core issues and translate findings into practical recommendations.
