Qualifications

• 3–4 years total experience, with 2+ years in energy-focused IB/M&A or related
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Knowledge of energy markets and commodities
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models (LBO, DCF, returns analysis) for new investments
• Conduct commercial, financial, and operational due diligence
• Draft investment committee memos and present findings to senior team
• Coordinate with lenders, legal counsel, consultants, and management teams during transactions
• Monitor portfolio company performance and support value-creation initiatives and exits
• Track energy market trends and regulatory developments to source opportunities
