Job summary

Star Anise Limited, a leading global law firm, seeks a junior associate to join its Private Equity and Corporate Advisory group in Hong Kong. The team handles high-value APAC transactions in a collaborative, cross-border environment.

You will work on M&A matters including private equity deals, control acquisitions, minority investments, take-privates and cross-border work, with early responsibility and direct client exposure.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate or M&A work.
• Bilingual Mandarin and English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a variety of M&A transactions within PE and corporate advisory.
• Collaborate across teams and across APAC region to manage multiple deals.
• Develop strong technical and commercial skills with early client exposure.
