Job summary

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited is seeking a Private Banking Product Specialist to drive sale of investment products and coordinate with relationship managers. You will train staff, deliver investment ideas to clients, and construct tailored portfolio proposals to meet client needs.

This role requires a degree, strong product knowledge, and wealth management experience. English and Putonghua proficiency are essential, with occasional travel expected.

Qualifications

• University Degree or above in related subjects.
• Strong investment products knowledge.
• Qualifications in SFC / HKMA / IIQA.
• CFA / CPWP is highly preferred.
• At least 3 years related banking and wealth management experience.
• Excellent communication, writing and analytical skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua.
• Occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Act as product specialist in Private Banking to maintain, motivate and coordinate the sale of investment products, and work closely with relationship managers to meet sale target
• Train relationship managers on product knowledge and monitor investment ideas
• Deliver investment ideas with clients through face-to-face/conference call
• Construct client portfolio proposal and review according to clients' needs
• Provide daily trade and administrative support
• Assist in product launch cycle, from due diligence to after-launch training and review
• Ensure sales conduct are in strict adherence
• Upgrade and maintain professionalism in investment
