Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of elevator components, electrical systems, and control systems.
• Familiarity with safety codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to elevator maintenance and modernization.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on elevator systems to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Modernization Projects: Participate in elevator modernization projects, including the upgrade or replacement of components to enhance performance, energy efficiency, and safety.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety codes, regulations, and industry standards during troubleshooting and modernization activities.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of troubleshooting activities, repairs, and modernization projects.
• Customer Service: Interact with clients, building owners, and occupants in a professional and customer-oriented manner.
• Training and Mentoring: Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or apprentices involved in troubleshooting, maintenance, or modernization activities.
