Job summary
Fortune Railway Engineering Limited is seeking a motivated and responsible Assistant Engineer (Electrical) to join our team in Hong Kong. The role provides exposure to high-voltage power systems, railway infrastructure, and diverse engineering projects.
You will assist in planning, coordination, and supervision of electrical works, prepare submissions, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and support testing, commissioning, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution or railway-related systems preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordination and supervision of electrical engineering works.
- Support Project Engineers in project execution, progress monitoring and reporting.
- Prepare technical submissions, method statements, work schedules and progress reports.
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure works meet drawings, specifications and safety requirements.
- Monitor project quality, progress and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
- Attend site meetings and prepare minutes and relevant documentation.
- Perform other duties as required by supervisors.
