Job summary

The English Schools Foundation (ESF) in SIS is seeking a Full-time Educational Assistant to join the Individual Needs Department. The role provides targeted support to students with learning needs, including ASD, collaborating with teachers to implement tailored strategies in mainstream classrooms.

You will maintain records, support behaviour management, and participate in professional development while contributing to an inclusive school community.

Qualifications

• Previous working experience with children.
• Fluency in English essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with students and colleagues.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and support inclusive practice.
• Specialised knowledge of ASD and related neurodiversities desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students, working with individuals or small groups on tailored tasks and activities.
• Assist in implementing strategies from the student support plan and by their Key Worker.
• Liaise with teachers, provide feedback on engagement and progress, and share positive behaviour management insights.
• Contribute to the school community by supporting aims and policies of the Individual Needs Department.
• Attend relevant courses and maintain accurate records of student data and progress.
• Undertake other duties as reasonably assigned by the Line Manager.
