Taikang Asset Management (Hong Kong) Co. Ltd. is seeking a Fixed Income trader to perform best execution of trades per Investment Managers’ instructions in an accurate, efficient manner.

The role includes handling Fixed Income, FX and money market transactions, with backup support for equities and derivatives. You will liaise with Sales and Back Office, brokers, analysts and economists to gather market intelligence and present investment ideas.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Economics, Finance or related field.
• At least 2 years of Fixed Income trading experience (China Offshore Dollar Bond/Rates/LGFV/Emerging Market/DM Bond).
• Proficient in Bloomberg, Wind and Excel.
• A diligent team player, quick minded and able to work under pressure.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese).
• Require to work evening shift on rotation basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform best execution of trades as per Investment Managers’ instructions in an accurate and efficient manner
• Execute Fixed Income (China offshore dollar bond, rates, LGFV, emerging market, DM bond), FX, Money market transactions
• Back up on Equities and Derivatives trade execution
• Liaise with relevant departments such as Sales, Back Office to handle various business requirements
• Liaise with brokers, sell-side analysts and economists for market intelligence and investment ideas
• Provide investment-related supports including market updates, model portfolio set-up to internal and external clients
