Job summary

Haitong International Securities Group Limited is seeking a fixed income trader in Hong Kong to execute trades across government bonds, corporates, and rates products. You will manage liquidity, monitor market movements, and collaborate with portfolio managers and back office to optimize trading performance and risk-adjusted returns.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, SFC Type 9 qualification, and fluency in English and Putonghua.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business/Finance or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of fixed income trading experience on buy-side or sell-side desks.
• Licensed for Type 9 by SFC is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades across fixed income products per desk strategy and risk limits.
• Monitor market movements and prepare daily commentary.
• Ensure trade capture and regulatory/compliance adherence.
• Assist in testing and maintaining trading systems.
• Support broker and commission reviews.
