Job summary

China Aircraft Services Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Operations Manager Deputy to supervise frontline staff, ensure cabin cleaning and related services meet airline requirements and standards, and support daily operations.

You will manage resources, inventory, safety compliance, and customer liaison, while preparing reports and guiding continuous improvement. A degree and at least 7 years in aviation are required, with English and Chinese proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or above
• At least 7 years relevant working experience, aviation exposure preferred
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese typing
• Holder of driving license class 1 and 2
• Shift work is required

Responsibilities

• Assist Operations Manager in supervising frontline staff to deliver cabin cleaning and related services meeting airline requirements and service standards
• Oversee deployment of resources including manpower, equipment and tools for daily operations
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure warehouse housekeeping meets safety regulations
• Ensure operations and team adhere to company policies, safety and regulator requirements
• Prepare analytical reports and operational statistics for continuous improvement
• Identify, investigate and resolve operational irregularities and incidents
• Act as primary contact for airline customers; respond to requests and complaints
• Support staff management activities including coaching and disciplinary actions
• Assist in handling accidents, injuries, customer complaints and audits
• Serve as deputy to Operations Manager during absence

Job Contents:

• Assist the Operations Manager in supervising frontline staff to deliver high-quality cabin cleaning and related services, ensuring all work meets airline requirements and service standards
• Oversee the efficient and effective deployment of resources, including manpower, equipment, and tools, to support daily operations
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure warehouse housekeeping standards are consistently upheld in compliance with safety regulations
• Ensure all operational activities and team members adhere to company policies, safety and security standards, and the requirements set by authorities and airline customers
• Prepare analytical reports and operational statistics, providing insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify, investigate, and resolve operational irregularities, incidents, and issues arising during shifts, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Act as the primary point of contact for airline customers, responding promptly and professionally to requests, inquiries, and complaints
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment while maintaining strong partnerships with airline customers
• Support staff management activities, including performance monitoring, coaching, counseling, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when required
• Assist in handling accidents, injury cases, customer complaints, and audits conducted by airlines or regulatory authorities
• Act as the Operations Manager’s deputy during their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and operations
