Job summary

Medicus Group Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to prepare and dispense medicines accurately according to prescriptions and to counsel patients on dosage, precautions and potential side effects. The role also includes monitoring medications and supporting inventory control.

We require at least 2 years of experience in clinic or medical center settings, strong English and Chinese communication, and a mature, proactive team player attitude.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Higher Diploma in pharmaceutical dispensing or Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or above.
• English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) written and spoken skills required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in clinic or medical center settings.
• Mature, pleasant, interpersonal and multitasking abilities; proactive and customer‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense drugs accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions.
• Counsel patients by explaining dosage, precautions and potential side effects, and monitor medications.
• Assist with inventory control including stock takes, storage and expiry checks.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff to deliver patient‑centered care.
• Handle ad‑hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Conduct patient counseling by explaining dosage, precautions and side effect of medicine and monitoring of the medications to patients

Support inventory control including stock take, stock storage and expiry check

Work with other healthcare professionals and supportive staff in delivering patient-centered care

Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor (s)

Job Requirements

Certificate or High Diploma in pharmaceutical dispensing or equivalent or Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or above

At least 2 years’ relevant working experience in clinic or medical center settings

Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

Mature, pleasant, strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills

Proactive, customer-oriented and a good team player
