About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Program Management to join Goldford Technology Limited on a full-time basis. This role will be based in Hong Kong, and requires frequent cross-border travel to our manufacturing facilities in Guangdong (including cross-functional alignment and production ramp-up steering directly at the factory sites). In this strategic leadership position, you will oversee multiple complex portfolio program strategies, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest manufacturing quality standards.

Key responsibilities

Directing and overseeing multiple concurrent programmes and projects of varying scale and complexity

Developing comprehensive programme strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans aligned with organisational objectives

Managing programme budgets, resource allocation, and ensuring cost-effective delivery

Establishing and maintaining governance frameworks, performance metrics, and risk management processes

Leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration across departments to achieve programme goals

Providing strategic guidance and mentoring to programme managers and project leads

Engaging with senior stakeholders and executives to communicate programme status, risks, and opportunities

Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance programme management practices

Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring transparent communication throughout programme lifecycles

Driving continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practice adoption

What we're looking for

Minimum 12+ years of programme and project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role

Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex programmes within the technology or engineering sectors

Strong expertise in programme management methodologies such as PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent frameworks

Excellent understanding of systems engineering and technical project delivery

Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholder relationships at executive and board level

Advanced financial acumen with proven ability to manage large budgets and deliver value

Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances

Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar qualifications are highly desirable

Experience in Hong Kong or Greater China business environment is advantageous
