Job summary

Venturenix in Hong Kong seeks a Heads of Risks (IT & Data Governance) to lead multi-year IT risk strategy, governance and data protection initiatives across digital platforms and AI programs. You will drive risk-based decisioning with senior leadership and endorse robust controls in rapid, high-volume environments.

The role requires extensive experience in IT risk, data governance, and regulatory engagement, with strong leadership to build and mentor a capable risk team in a dynamic enterprise.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT risk, cyber risk, data governance, or technology controls.
• 5+ years in senior management roles owning team strategy and execution.
• Proven track record leading Data Governance initiatives and AI/ML transformations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic IT risk and AI governance to align with enterprise risk appetites.
• Define and implement governance, policy, and control frameworks for AI/ML, automation, and cloud.
• Embed data protection controls and privacy-by-design across platforms and workflows.
• Represent IT risk to C-suite, risk committees, and regulatory groups.
• Translate technology and data risks into executive-ready narratives and decision frameworks.
• Lead cross-functional assurance with Risk, Internal Audit, and Legal/Compliance.
